Jewlery School La Ceiba Dump

Jewelry School

We have restarted the Jewelry making school for the women who live in the city dump in La Ceiba, Honduras. These are some of the poorest people on the planet. Traditionally they collect what they can out of the fresh garbage brought in from the city. This is an opportunity for them to learn a skill that can improve their impoverished lives

What we do

We send tools, raw materials and instructors to the dump in La Ceiba to teach the women how to make jewelry out of semi-precious stones to sale to other missionaries and in the local market providing a source of income for women who live in some of the worst conditions on the planet, providing a source of income to these impoverished women and their children.
